Clover Area Assistance Center Announces New Administration and Outreach Center to Expand Community Services

Clover Area Assistance Center (CAAC) is thrilled to share the news of our upcoming new building to be located on the land behind our current pantry. This facility, spanning approximately 3,000 square feet is designed to significantly enhance our services to the community.

The new Administration and Outreach Center will provide space for financial management courses, and administrative offices, and serve as an outreach location for other social service agencies. With these additions, CAAC can expand our educational programs and community support initiatives.

We are proud to announce that we have signed a contract with Waddell Custom Homes, a trusted local builder, to bring this vision to life. Construction is set to begin this summer, with an expected completion date in the summer of 2025.

However, we still need the community’s support to fully fund this project. Your contributions are crucial in helping us make this new center a reality.

New Administration and Outreach Center

Expanded Services

The new building will provide the necessary space to continue offering our financial management courses to clients seeking assistance with rent and utilities. These courses are integral in empowering individuals and families to achieve financial stability.

Improved Accessibility

The new building will also serve as an outreach location for other social service agencies. This will eliminate the need for our clients to travel to agencies in Rock Hill and other areas within York County, addressing a significant barrier caused by transportation challenges in our community.

Enhanced Community Support

By providing space for outside agencies to utilize, CAAC will facilitate easier access to a wider range of support and assistance services for local residents. This collaborative approach will create a more comprehensive support network within our area.

Future Plans

Plans for the existing CAAC building include expanding the full-choice food pantry and adding additional food storage space. This expansion will enable us to accept larger quantities of donations, meeting the increasing demand for food assistance in our community.

Get Involved

We invite you to join us in this exciting new chapter by contributing to our building project. Your support will help us expand our services and reach even more individuals and families in need!
